Michelle is a 30-something Midwestern girl who dug herself a big hole of debt during her 20s and is now trying to get it all paid off before her April 2009 wedding. Some of the characters/phrases you’ll be introduced to during the course of this blog are: Future Husband (”FH”), Michelle’s frugal fiance and beloved cheerleader; Evil Cat … that’s Michelle and FH’s less-than-friendly feline; the Rattling Death Trap (”RDT”), Michelle’s long-suffering Saturn that has a tendency to rattle when its traveling under 55 miles per hour and many, many other people and situations that support Michelle through her journey to reduce her debt and the things that end up confounding her from time to time.
