Michelle is a 30-something Midwestern girl who dug herself a big hole of debt during her 20s and is now trying to get it all paid off before November 11, 2009. Some of the characters/phrases you’ll be introduced to during the course of this blog are: Husband (formerly known as “FH” for Future Husband, now just called Husband or Hubby), Michelle’s frugal husband and beloved cheerleader; Evil Cat … that’s Michelle and the Hubby’s less-than-friendly feline; the Tank, Michelle’s newish 1999 Mercury Sable which has taught Michelle the power of Grandma cars and many, many other people and situations that support Michelle through her journey to reduce her debt and the things that end up confounding her from time to time.
