Debt Payoff Spreadsheet for Debt Snowball and Avalanche Methods (Excel and Google Sheets)

What's your biggest asset for paying down your debts? What's--pretty much always--the most important thing?

Hope. The hope that motivates you. Inspires you to keep going. Tells you that nothing is impossible. Fills you, instead, with a sense of possibility.

Hope, more than anything, is going to get you to the finish line.

So, what's the best way to cultivate hope?

Timelines. Countdowns. These have always provided me with a lot of hope.

It's a lot easy to bear suffering, anxiety, stress, if you know how long it's going to last. If you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is the thinking behind the free Debt Payoff Spreadsheet that I developed.

I adapted this debt payoff spreadsheet from Squawkfox's Kerry K. Taylor. Kerry provided a very nice spreadsheet, but I wanted to add just a bit more functionality. Now, it provides a timeline for paying off individual debts.
